Back in 2011, we entered the same university, under the same degree. We lived just two kilometers apart in Manila. Despite the proximity, for 26 years of our lives, we never had the chance to meet.

On December 24, 2020, through a shared master’s degree program in Tokyo, we finally did. What began as a new friendship soon grew into a quiet, warm kind of love – one that felt like two old friends meeting, catching sparks, and discovering that the world was ever so brighter when they are together.

 

On this day, we hope to share that brightness with you, and to gather in yours as well.
